How a booking works
A few things are worth knowing before you send an inquiry, so none of them lands as a surprise later.
What it costs
Every booking carries a food and beverage minimum. It changes with the meal and with the day of the week, and a deposit is due when you book.
Confirm with us The current minimums and the deposit amount are confirmed when you inquire.
A gratuity of 20% is added automatically. It does not count toward the minimum.
Timing and headcount
- Events are booked in a block of at least two hours.
- Your final headcount is due 48 hours before the event.
The bar
Choose how the bar runs for your party:
- An open bar
- Beer and wine
- Signature cocktails with beer and wine
- A cash bar
- A dry event
Cake and decorations
- A cake from a commercial bakery can be brought in for a $25 fee.
- Table decorations and flowers are welcome.
- Nothing goes on the walls, and no confetti.
Large tables in the dining room
You do not have to book a room to bring a group. A large table in the dining room is handled the way the menus set out:
In an effort to ensure timely service, all parties of 7 or more will need to be processed in a single transaction (no splitting of checks) & a gratuity of 20% will be automatically applied to the entire check.
Catering
If you want food from Charred somewhere other than the restaurant, ask. Say what you have in mind and the kitchen will tell you what is possible.
Email the restaurant with your date, guest count, location, and the kind of meal you have in mind. The team will confirm what is possible.
Start an inquiry
Tell us the date, roughly how many of you there will be, and what the occasion is. Someone will come back to you with what the room can do.
Email or call the restaurant. Use whichever is easier for your group.
For a normal table rather than a private booking, book a reservation.
